CHARMING CHARACTER COTTAGE NESTLED IN A TRANQUIL VALLEY IN DARTMOOR NATIONAL PARK PERFECT FOR WALKERS This semi-detached cottage with original beams and stonework is set in almost 2 acres of beautiful countryside with wildlife on your doorstep surrounded by farmland. A warm welcome awaits you from the owners who live next door with many quality comforts and extras to make your stay relaxed and effortless. With breath-taking scenery the ruggedness of Dartmoor is waiting to be explored. Ideal for walkers or for the more adventurous on and off road cycling climbing horse riding Letterboxing or Geocaching. Haytor Rocks 2 miles away is considered to be Dartmoor s most famous landmark. Once you have discovered Dartmoor the delightful South Devon coast beckons with unspoilt beaches. Dawlish Warren part of the Exe estuary is a favourite with wildlife enthusiasts and Teignmouth offers a more traditional seaside experience with its Victorian pier. Brixham approximately 20 miles away is a small but busy fishing town. Sample the seafood take a boat trip or browse the art galleries. Nearby Bovey Tracey has a good selection of shops restaurants and pubs and is home to the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. This character cottage offers TWO bedrooms accessed via a cottage style staircase: 1 double with TV/DVD with Freeview DAB/FM stereo clock radio; and 1 with bunk beds (the travel cot will be located in this room when needed). Bathroom: with shower over bath WC and heated towel rail. Lounge/diner: spacious area full of character with woodburner set in the inglenook fireplace (first basket of logs included) slate flooring original beams and stonework 40 flatscreen TV with Freeview BluRay player with internet access hi-fi with CD DAB/FM radio dock and USB. Step to well-equipped kitchen: electric cooker microwave fridge washer/dryer and dishwasher. Outside: beautiful countryside views wildlife pond (please take care with children) and wildlife including woodpeckers buzzards and occasionally deer. Private large enclosed garden with patio area BBQ garden furniture and access to large orchard. Amenities: parking for 2 cars. Bed linen towels electric central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no pets. Regret no smoking. 2 stairgates available. Additional info: maximum occupancy is 4 including an infant. Location: shops 2.5 miles pub 2 miles local farm shop and cafe 0.5 miles and beach 14 miles. Arrival: 3pm.
